اسلام میں عورت کا مقام اور حقوق

عورت، وہ لفظ جو عزت و حرمت سے آگاہ کرتا ہے، جس کے وجود سے کائنات میں رنگ ہے اور جسے ہر دور میں مظلوم بنا کر پیش کیا گیا مگر وہاں جہاں وہ مظلوم ہے۔ اسلام کو ماننے والی کوئی عورت کم از کم اسلام کی طرف سے نہ مجبور ہے نہ بے بس۔ قرآن و احادیث اور سیرت صحابیات سے یہ بات واضح ہے مگر افسوس ہے ان لوگوں پر جنھوں نے آج اسلام کو بدنام کرنے کی ذمے داری اٹھارکھی ہے۔ آج کی نام نہاد آزادی کا سہانہ خواب دکھا کر، بے چاری عورت کو ان حقوق سے بھی دور کردیا جس سے اسلام نے انھیں نوازا ہے۔ اگر ایک نظر تاریخ اسلام پر ڈالی جائے، تو معلوم ہوگا اسلام نے عورت کو، حاکم، حکومت، سیاست، قیادت، انتظامات، مشاورت، ہر چیز کا ترجمان بنایا۔
قرآن کریم میں ارشاد ہے، فرمایا گیا’’اے لوگو! اپنے رب سے ڈرو، جس نے تمہیں ایک جان سے پیدا فرمایا پھر اسی سے اس کا جوڑ پیدا فرمایا۔ پھر ان دونوں میں سے بکثرت مردوں اور عورتوں (کی تخلیق) کو پھیلا دیا۔‘‘ (النساء)
رب کائنات نے مرد و عورت کی تخلیق کے درجے کو برابر رکھا۔ واضح فرمان ہے کہ ’’ایک جان سے پیدا فرمایا پھر اس سے اسی کا جوڑ ‘‘۔ آج مرد کو ظالم اور عورت کو مظلوم بیان کیا جاتا ہے جبکہ اسلام نے عورت کو پیدائش سے لے کر موت تک کے حقوق سے نواز دیا۔ اسلام سے قبل لڑکیوں کی حالت تشویشناک تھی۔ اسلام نے لڑکی کو رحمت بنایا، گھر کا سکون بنایا۔ اسلام کا سورج طلوع ہوا تو عورت کا استحصال بند ہوا۔ عورت کو دی جانے والی ذلت پر گرہ لگی۔ عورت کو اس وقار، عصمت، عزت، حرمت سے نوازا گیا اور پھر زندہ عورت کو دفنانے کی رسم جاہلانہ ختم ہوئی۔ اسلام نے ہی عورتوں کو مردوں کے مساوی حقوق دیے۔ عورت کی حیثیت مستحکم کی۔
اسلام نے عورت کو مساوات، عزت و عصمت کا تحفظ، میراث ، مہر ، خلع کا حق، انفرادی حقوق ، تعلیم و تربیت کا حق ، علیحدگی کی صورت میں اولاد رکھنے کا حق، حق رائے کا حق، مشاورت کا حق سمیت آدھی دنیا قرار دے ڈالا۔ عورت اگر کمائے تب بھی اس کے ذمہ اسلام نے یہ نہیں کیا کہ وہ اولاد کی کفالت کرے۔ یہ ذمہ داری باپ کی ہے۔ ماں بہن بیٹی بیوی،اسلام نے ہر رشتے سے عورت کا ترکے میں حصہ رکھا ہے۔
جہاں یہ صورتحال ہے وہیں اسلام کے نام پر ہی عورت کو متنفر کیا جاتا ہے۔ مسلم خاتون کو بجائے اسلام میں خود کو محفوظ سمجھنے کے قید سمجھنے لگی۔ہماری عورت متاثر ہے اس مغربی ماحول سے جہاں علیحدگی کی صورت میں اولاد کی کفالت، اولاد کی ذمہ داریاں صرف اور صرف عورت کے نازک کاندھوں پرہی آجاتی ہیں۔ ہماری عورت متاثر وہاں کی اس عورت سے، جہاں کا مرد لمحے لمحے میں عورت کی تذلیل اور عزت نفس مجروح کرتا ہے۔
کیا ہم اس معاشرے سے متاثر ہیں کہ جہاں عورت کو جنسی تسکین سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ سر عام زیادتی کی جاتی ہے اور اس کی سزا بھی اسی عورت کو بھگتنی پڑتی ہے۔ اس عورت سے متاثر یہ اسلام کی ملکائیں، شہزادیاں جہاں کی عورت کو پیدائش کے ساتھ ہی حقوق ملتے ہیں لیکن وہ اس عورت کے حقوق چاہتی ہے جسے حق رائے کا حق بھی بیسویں صدی کے بعد ملا۔ ہمیں مغربی معاشرے سے مرعوب ہونے کے بجائے سمجھنا ہوگا۔ اپنی حیثیت کو پہچاننا ہوگا۔ ایک نظر اگر مغربی معاشرے کی عورت پر ڈالا جائے تو یقیناًآپ کو وہ اسی معاشرے کی تمنا کرتی ملے گی۔ اسے عزت نہیں ملی وہاں وہ اسے یہاں چاہیے۔ اسے جنسی تشدد کا شکار بنایا جاتا ہے وہاں اسی گھر میں احترام مشرقی معاشرے میں دیکھائی دیتا ہے۔
میری عزیز بہنو! خدارا سوچو۔ کیوں خود کو مغربی غلامی میں ڈھالنے کی کوشش کررہی ہو۔ تم نہیں جانتی کہ اس ماحول میں سکون نہیں، وہاں عزت و احترام نہیں۔ذلت کی زندگی پسند کرنے والیوں ہوش کے ناخن لو۔ جو دیکھائی دے رہا ہے ویسا کچھ نہیں ہے وہاں۔ اسلام کو پسند کرلیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمارے لیے اسلام جیسے عظیم ترین مذہب کا انتخاب فرمایا ہے۔
اسلام، ہمارا دین، ہمارا پیارا مذہب جس نے عورت کو مقدس بنا دیا۔ چار دیواری میں اس کے تحفظ کے حقوق مقرر کر دیے گئے۔ خود دو جہاں کے محبوب حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرما یا کہ ’’جس نے بیٹیوں کی اچھی پرورش کی وہ جنت میں میرے ساتھ ہوگا‘‘۔ عورت بہن کی صورت میں بھائی کا مان ہے۔ بیوی کی صورت میں مکمل گھر ہستی عطا کر کے سکون بنا دیا۔ کیا یہ ہماری بد نصیبی نہیں ہوگی کہ ہم اچھی بیٹی نہ بن پائیں۔ اچھی ماں نہ بن سکیں۔ نہ اچھی بہن کر بھائیوں کے مان کو برکت دے سکیں۔ نہ ہی اچھی بیوی بن کر گھر کو جنت بنا سکیں۔ بالکل ہے ہماری کم نصیبی کہ جب ہمارے مذہب نے اتنے حقوق عطا کر دیے۔ اتنا احترام ، اتنا مان ، اتنی عزت و شرف عطا کردی تو ہم کسی اور سے کیوں متاثر ہوں۔ کسی دوسرے مذہب، قوم سے متاثر ہونے کی ضرورت ہے اور نہ ہی آزادی کے بے بنیاد نعروں پر کان دھرنے کی ۔ ہم جہاں بھی ہیں یہیں سب سے عظیم اور سب سے آزادی والی جگہ ہے۔ اس میں خوش ہوجائیں۔
